The students from SS “Braka Miladinovci” from Dracevo – Skopje promoted their successes in a festive atmosphere. With the support of the USAID Youth Ethnic Integration Project, the students have recently participated in numerous activities to improve the situation in their environment and at school.
The young people from different ethnic communities had the opportunity to cooperate with the local authorities and implement initiatives to improve the societal challenges that affect them. They participated in youth actions for arranging the school yard as well as environmental activities for cleaning the environment. The students were also part of the digital Idea Fusion Center and their active participation provided support for the realization of the idea to build a youth corner with bookcases.
The secondary vocational school also conducts joint classes with students who study in different languages of instruction, during which young people socialize and get to know each other better.
“We are happy with the success of our students and their participation in various activities. We also want to express our gratitude for the new heating system that has been providing better learning and working conditions in the school ever since it was installed”, said the principal of SS “Braka Miladinovci” from Skopje.
The school actively continues to implement numerous other activities to encourage youth participation and make positive changes in the community.
