A student from the Access Program experienced American diplomacy in practice

The beginning of August will remain in Bojana Koceva’s memory for a long time. She is a student, who is a part of the Access – Microscholarship Program for increasing the access to English language, supported by the U.S. Embassy in Skopje, who got the opportunity to spend the day at the U.S. Embassy in Skopje and experience American diplomacy in practice.

This year, Bojana completed her secondary education at SS “Koco Racin” in Sveti Nikole, and she is interested in advancing her knowledge in the fields of international relations and diplomacy. During her active participation in the Access Program, she was a part of numerous activities for developing her personal and life skills through and enriched her knowledge on various topics.

During her visit to the U.S. Embassy in Skopje, Bojana followed the work of Ambassador Byrnes and attended meetings with her. She also toured the various departments and got to know their work and the overall functioning of the Embassy.

Through activities related to the American way of life, the educational system, political and cultural life, as well as the traditions and values ​​of the United States that are realized within the framework of the program, students have the opportunity to improve their English language skills, develop their academic knowledge and to contribute to the socio-economic success of their families.

This activity is part of the English Access Microscholarship Program, supported by the United States Embassy in North Macedonia.
